I have just upgraded my firmware to 4.0 - Previous Bluetooth pairing lost is the normal

After upgrading to the new firmware 4. 0 on my SMH10 any previous pairing that I had e.g Zumo 660, Intercom function and Bluetooth connection to a

Sony Bluetbtooth transmitter was lost - I had to re-pair all those again - Is this normal after doing a Firmware upgarde and can this be avoided in the

future

P.S - I do like the voice prompts (Well done)

  Thank you for using Sena product, SMH10.

  Yes, it is normal process.

  SMH10 will perform factory default setting from 3.x to 4.0 after firmware upgrade.

  I have found since the Firmware upgrade the pairing between items is better so well done

  I have a SONY dongle that will not sync up to my Sena SMH10. It used to about 2 software updates ago but now I can't get it to pair.

  Any suggestions?

  I used the reset function on both the Sena SMH10 and on My Sony Bluetooth Transmitter - if its the Sony TMR-BT10  :- See the section ref Initializing the Unit

  Once this has been done I just re=paired both to each other and they work fine - In fact the Sena SMH 10 gives audio to advise you the connection has been made
