    Hello,

the only time a tone can be heard is when the volume is at max level to indicate it is max level. if you are hearing this while riding, there might be chance your unit is rubbing against your shoulder pad if you are wearing gear with it. very silly sometimes, but it does happen to me.

you can probably troubleshoot this by just listening to music with your headset on at home and mimicking your riding while sitting on your bike with out your gear on to see if the same thing happens. (please don't ride with out gear that's dangerous)

It does it all the time. I thought it was only when listening to music, but it does it when there is no music too. It's definitely worse when I am moving. But it's every couple or 3 seconds I get a double tone. If music is playing, it paused the music. I've tried changing the mike, moving the mike, moving the unit into different places on the helmet, fiddled with settings until I'm blue in the face and so far nothing has stopped it!
My old 20S did not do this. Pretty much ready to throw the 50S into the garbage

Dont know why Sena are saying its the high volume tone. This problem has been ongoing since the 30k. I am having it with my 50s now but only on the Harmon Kardon mike. I have an older mike/unit holder on my other helmet and it works fine.

I tried using the second unit from my wife's helmet and it doesn't do the tone but it continuously says "intercom failed, try again later". It drives my wife crazy. But I'm thinking my unit is defective now. How do I make a request to Sena to send it in for repairs?
