SRL Mesh 3 dropping out
Hi,
got a problem with my SRL 3 in Neotec 3. Open mesh is working but at some point (5-10-15 minutes) I cannot hear the other in the group anymore, although they can still hear me. As if the reception is going into idle modus. Can someone help??

Hi. Having exactly the same issue with the same equipment. Have you had any success with this problem?

Had same setup and same problem. I have to disable mesh and re-enable it, to get back to normal state.

Thank you. This issue is not uncommon. Have created a ticket with Sena.

Mine keeps dropping out too although at home with music playing it stays fully connected

Hello,
Yes. This was their response.
If the firmware is up to date and there is no error, the mesh break may be in the antenna or the mesh button itself. In both cases, we would ask you to report the case to your dealer and claim your warranty.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.Retailer contacted and is taking it back under warranty.

LOL, the error is that the headset drops out partially from Open Mesh. The Button is not the case, because it drops partially and the same for the antenna. I hope for you that a exchange will help. I will ask my dealer also, but I don’t think that he is really happy about the tip from Sena

Bought mine in January this year to go with my new gt air 3 helmet, had problems straight away with it kicking me out of mesh, having to turn mesh off then back on to come back in half way thru a conversation, went back to the retailer who got a replacement from Sena, guess what same problems only this time i was away with 7 others who are all on either sena or intercom, ruined my trip to be fair, didn't just go away to talk to myself missed out on so much of the conversations or having a laugh.

Seems to be same problem I've got. Bluetooth intercom & music works flawless but open mesh dropps off seconds to minutes after connecting. Can instantly re-enter the group with no problem but keeps dropping out

I've had exactly the same problem over the last 9 months with an installation in a Neotec 3. Same slow and unhelpful response from the 'helpdesk'. Few opportunities to keep testing tweaks with group in mesh, but just had another tour ruined by the poor performance of this unit. Last message from hepdesk was ' contact dealer for refund'!

Another one exactly the same problem as above. Have created a ticket for it will be interested to see what they say. It is interesting, in my group, that the other 2 riders who have SRL3 v1.3 in the Neotec 3s and another 3 with SENA had no problems. Would be very interesting to see how common this is and what the actual cause is.
No matter what it was and is, it is really annoying!
