Better firmware management in the Sena Motorcycle App

Hi,

it will be helpful, ich the App:

1. Displays the version of the new firmware available for upgrade.
2. Displays the release notes / changes for new firmware available for upgrade.
3. Allows to install an older firmware version (downgrade) - like the Device Manager application for computer.

  Hello,

  Thank you for your suggestions! We will forward them to our dev team for consideration.

  One thing to note is that we are gradually moving away from the Sena Device Manager on PC/Mac and transitioning to a more modern solution—Over-the-Air (OTA) updates via Bluetooth on your phone, eliminating the need for a Wi-Fi dongle.

  However, older Sena devices will still require the Sena Device Manager, but newer devices will utilize OTA updates moving forward.

  Hi Alex,

  thanks for reply 👍 It's good to hear you have new idea's for the motorcycle app ... My intent was to give the user more flexibility and information by choosing the firmware to use. The forum has many posts, where users ask, how to go back to previous firmware version because of bugs. At the moment is this only possible with the Sena Device Manager.
