Yup - same issue I ran into.   Running version 3.0 worked fine (for me) as long as I was using the original earbuds and cable.  Using the Sena 10C-A0101 earbud splitter cable with earbuds does not work on version 3.0.  Reverting to version 2.3 "fixed" this issue.

I got on a "chat" with Sena, and they said they passed this bug information along.

Guys, letting you know that I have the same issue and have submitted a ticket which has not been resolved. In my case, I use the Sena earbud cable and when uprevving my firmware to 3.0 on my 10C, I no longer get audio on the earbuds. However, switching to speakers, it works. So on 3.0, I can use speakers but not earbuds. Reverting back to the old firmware gives me audio on both speakers and earbuds. Please post on here if you know Sena has fixed this issue. Thanks, Doug

Firmware 3.0.1 for the 10C has been released.  It's available on Sena's Support website but the Sena Bluetooth Download Manager doesn't "see" it.  I downloaded the firmware and tried to upgrade.  The upgrade failes at 29%, and says to "check the SD" card.  My SD card is fine.  I created a ticket with Sena.

    Update:

I just chatted with Sena, and they say that Sandisk SD cards work fine whilst recording video and pictures, they don't always work for an upgrade.  They say, "We are using Samsung, Transcend, and Lexar. Make sure it is a class 10 SD card or more."

I updated to 3.0.1 this morning.  The earbud speakers still do not work.  Reverted back to 2.3.

It's hard to tell what version you are getting from the Sena application as the revision only goes to one digit. I could only see version 3.0 so I did not try it. Is there a way to verify if it's 3.01 before committing to the upgrade?

The Sena Bluetooth Download Manager only "sees" version 3.0.  I'm sure Sena will fix that eventually.  If you want 3.0.1, you have to download it from Sena's Support website.  Then, in the Sena Bluetooth Download Manager, "browse" to the 3.0.1 image you downloaded.

I am having the exact same problem with my 10cpro.

    I did find a workaround.

It might work for the 10c.

Plug everything in, turn unit on.
Unplug the main harness from the camera.

    Replug main harness.
    Audio through headphones works.

Yes, that works, but it isn't very practical.  :-(

Not sure why I expected a different outcome! As ever being told new firmware coming to fix a bug and it hasn't even been tested before release - shocking!

The support from SENA is woeful for this product.

The work around from Abel Valdez does work but is not practical and constant connection and disconnection from the main harness will eventually stress the connector, hardly a solution to the problem.

Same problem, updated to 3.0.1, lost all audio.
Reverted back to 2.3, didn't solve the problem.
Still have no audio, phone is connected.
Don't even have audio when turning the 10c on. No voice saying hello or goodbye :-(

Mike, I too do not have audio on version 3.0.1 either. We are all waiting for a new firmware version. I had heard/read that you can power up the 10C with the plug that connects to the unit disconnected. Once powered, plug it back in. I have not tried this and its is probably not a good long term solution as you stress the unit's PC Board going this over and over.

Come on Sena, get us a new firmware version!

Is Sena working on an update for this problem?

Mike, as far as I know, there has not been a new 10C firmware update recently. We are all waiting for a firmware release greater than 3.0.1. 3.0.1 does not fix the audio issue. I have a ticket in with Sena but all I heard is cricket noises.

Everyone:  Sena just posted firmware 3.0.2 for the 10c.  I didn't see any release notes, so I got on a chat with support.  Here is what they had to say:

"The new firmware is a minor bug fixes with the 10C Earbud Adapter Split Cable, volume and removed the beep after taking a photo".

Just loaded 3.0.2, audio now works as expected.

I had problems with the phone app device manager in the 2.X firmware releases. It would only work once when loading the firmware, then never again. DId not have a problem with the PC based device manager. However, the 3.0.2 firmware release fixes the audio with earbuds issue (10C). See if you can get the 3.0.2 firmware release and it hopefully should fix both problems. I can now use the phone app device manager with the 10C on the firmware release 3.0.2.

@Larssondif  Are you using a SANdisk SD card?  This problem can occur if you are using one.  In general, Sena devices and SANdisk don't work well together.

I have tried different brands and still the device manager wont recognize the 10c.
