Prism Tube Wifi , firmware will not update

I have successfully formatted the micro sd card, copied the latest firmware update revision to the root of the card.

But the unit will not update after "disconnecting and powering on" as described in the documentation.

Any advice? The camera is working fine, but I would like to be running the newest revision.

  same happens to me. Maybe name of firmware file is wrong? Don't know.

  I haven't tried this yet, but I may try to update from 1.03 to the "next" firmware update, then the next and so on, until it's at the current revision.

  The one thing I learned in my 20 years in technology? Computers are just high-speed idiots, and are easily fooled.

  Update:

  I copied ver 1.1 to sdcard, and it updated to v1.1. So my idea of making the "jump" up one revision seemed to work.

  However I was unable to update to v1.2.

  Odd.

  I may try a factory reset, again and then attempt an update to v1.2.
