SMH10 not pairing for phone calls with Huawei P30

Hello. I had issues with Huawei phone P8 in the past and and I am now getting into some of them with this Huawei P30 Pro phone. It was able to pair fine for both, music and phone calls. Now, it is not able to make or receive calls anymore. Media auto is turned on and I am able to listen to music or notifications. However, for calls it is not making it. I have sent it to Factory Defaults already but it does not work. The option for ¨Call audio¨ is grayed out and I am not able to turn it on. 

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

  Delete the Sena smh10 from your phone and pair again.

  Press and hold the small button in rear of SMH10 for 6 seconds, the light will blink blue and red. SMH10 is now ready for pairing with your phone.

  That didnot work. Upgrading the SMH10 yo latest firmware available made the trick. Thanks a lot, anyways.
