What is the 50S firmware 1.0.8 included?
Just got my 50S updated to 1.0.8, however I can only find the SENA website only shows up to 1.0.7.
What has fixed in this 1.0.8?

So is the 1.08 working for you? Mines good with the boom mic.

I know I'm late to the party. It gave me a problem with phone sound. Guess the minor A2DP bug fixes created a bigger Bug for me. It's taken me until now to find it. Downgraded to 1.0.6. all is ok again. Guess that's a fault with charging using the wifi adapter, it automatically updated the firmware without me realising.

Ian, you should be good on 1.08. Very stable. You need to update the unit, do a factory reset and a fault reset. Delete the pairing from your phone then pair it again. So to sum it up, your updating the sena, update your phone too, then clearing all pairings between the senaand phone and re establishing the pairing.

Ian if your using an apple they had a siri issue with last update. I had to clear the siri dictation history off the phone and do a hard reset by volume up,relese then volume down and release thenhold power button till it reboots, ignor the slide to power off.

No Chris, I'm not going back to 1.0.8. It does not give any sound for phone calls. I've gone through everything over the last 2 months. I have done many factory resets and hard resets etc of all the involved devices. The only thing that worked was taking the firmware back from 1.0.8.
I do not pair the Sena to the phone. It's a BMW set up. The Sena to TFT - iPhone to TFT - Sena to Nav 6 - iPhone to Nav 6. It is not "stable" at all. Siri is not involved, I don't use it. Consider this: Feb 26th Everything works ok - March 8th (Next time out) = no phone call sound. In between that time I charged the headset with the wifi adapter. It obviously auto updated to 1.0.8. That was the only thing that had changed. It can only be a fault with the firmware.

Ok I get it. Just be advised I have tried using the garmin, mines a 595 on a f6b, (see CycleChris on Gab in the motorcycle forum for pics) as the main hub, pairing like you describe.
No matter what you do if the garmin is paired up as the hub I would get garbled sound. I pair it both ways an just turn off the smartphone feature on the garmin. My phone is mounted so i can see notifications there.

I turn off media and don't allow contacts on the Garmin but leave smartphone on as that connects to the BMW connected app. Then I use the BMW TFT for media and phone calls with contacts.
For info, firmware 1.0.8 works as it should if I leave the Garmin out. This is what kind of tells me it's something to do with the changes made to A2DP in the update. As soon as I re-pair the Garmin my sound would disappear but only for call sound and ring tone, the connection is fine, just can't hear. Once this happens the only way to get it back is to factory re-set the sena and turn ignition off then on, even if I disconnect the Garmin.

Thats too bad. Im getting the best voice command response out of this firmware release Ive ever had with the sena. It rivals my cardo now. I am messing around with my gopros and my sena gp10 audio backpack. It will not record a incoming or outgoing phone call. Some privacy rule I guess. Maybe the headset thinks you’re trying to capture the phone audio and is shutting the sound off? Just a guess. You riding a kt1600? Thats a fast ride.

To be honest, I think Sena will release another firmware version soon. That should fix everything. I’ve been talking to them, think they get it.
For this setup I’m riding 1250 GS. I have another 10r setup for my Harley Breakout, no problems there as it simple phone to headset and Sena remote.
Think the main issue is all the different brands wanting to connect together using their own version of A2DP. This time Sena got it slightly wrong.
