50S Low Music Volume while on Mesh
I'm having a problem with my 50S where I have low music volume while using mesh. When mesh is disabled my music is played at an appropriate volume, but once I turn mesh on the music level drops significantly.
I have disabled Audio Multitasking Volume Management so the audio shouldn't be reduced by ongoing intercom conversation (I've also tested it with it enabled and the music does get even more quiet when there is talking going on). The music remains at a steady volume when on mesh, but the volume of that music is just so much lower than when mesh is disabled that it's quite hard to hear it at times. If I really want to listen to music comfortable while riding, I have to disable mesh but that removes me from the group's conversation.
I'm going to open a ticket with support, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had that issue or has a solution?

I should also mention that my music volume in the app is maxed out. My phone's volume is maxed out. All I am doing is simply pressing the mesh button to experience this music volume change. Outside of mesh it's fine. I press the mesh button to join mesh and the music volume drops quite low. I press the mesh button again to leave mesh, and the music goes back to a comfortable level.
If I turn up my Sena's volume up while on mesh, the music volume maxes out to a level lower than it was while off mesh. That and the intercom communication is then way too loud.

Ok. I spent more time with this tonight. The problem appears that when Audio Multitasking Volume Management is enabled (I mistakenly said "disabled" in my initial post), the music and the intercom volumes are both set to the same volume level where they are adjusted accordingly. It makes sense that with it enabled, turning the volume up or down modifies BOTH the intercom volume and the music volume.
However, this behavior is presenting a problem because when the Intercom volume is at an acceptable level, the music level is too quiet. And when the music is at an acceptable level, the intercom is deafening.
With Audio Multitasking Volume Management disabled, it looks like you're able to set the music and intercom volumes independently. But I personally find that leaving it disabled more distracting when it's constantly lowering and raising the volume of my music during mesh conversations and prefer to keep the music at a constant level of my choosing. That music level selection is lost once AMVM is enabled and the level gets set to that of the Intercom volume.
I believe you should be able to independently set the volume of your music and the volume of your intercom separately. Then when you have those dialed in, upon enabling Audio Multitasking Volume Management, it knows those set volume levels and adjusts both accordingly. So if my music is at a volume of "8" and my intercom a "5", increasing volume with Audio Multitasking Volume Management on takes music to 9 and intercom to 6. Or decreasing volume would take it to 7 and 4 respectively.
Right now, enabling Audio Multitasking Volume Management loses your ability to set mesh and music volumes independently. Both intercom and music get set to the same level which is not ideal.

A group of us all use Sena 50S or 50R and we have the same problem. I would think Sena could make a simple firmware change to solve this problem. As it is now, the 50S is less than adequate when traveling in a group if you want to listen to music. Shame it could be just about the perfect solution if they did make a change.

Almost seven months later and this hasn't seemingly gotten any attention at all. In addition to posting here, I also opened an official case with Sena support only to have them tell me "We will take your request under consideration and have sent it to our RnD."
The inability to have the music volume and the intercom volume be set separately when AMVM is enabled renders trying to listen to music and talk to friends over mesh useless. Inevitably, one of the two will be too loud/quiet with no way to adjust them to find that sweet spot.
If anyone else has this problem, I encourage you to also complain to Sena about it so that this issue can get the attention it desperately needs.

What firmware are you on? Is this the 50s-01 or 50s10? The 10 is the harmon kardon. I have a mic issue when mesh is on the music goes off indicating the mic thinks im talking. On the other hand the voice commands work better. Got a firmware update today, v2.0.2. Why they don’t post whats in the update is weird. The sena website lists firmware for the previous 50s on the new 50s page.

I'm on the latest firmware (1.1.1) as of this writing. And this is for the original 50s (50s-01). I'm still having this problem as of the latest firmware.
