Did you trigger pairing mode at the other device, too? and after both are linked you need to press the center button at the SRL2 again to confirm the pairing.

Yes, both devices on and in 'intercom pairing mode' , with flashing red LED's and then after about  a minute they both return to flashing blue.

I have just successfully paired my Motorrad GPS device so struggling to figure out why the SF4 will not connect.

This absolutely frustrating, surely pairing intercoms should not be this difficult!!

The problem is with the SF4 as it will not pair to a mobile phone or any other bluetooth device. I have tried the fault reset and a factory reset, updated the firmware and it still cannot pair to the SRL 2 . Can anybody offer suggestions as to what to try next because I am out of ideas.

Pairing BT devices has always been a great nuisance.

    Used to be much worse.

Having said that, I've recently bought an SF4, anticipating someone else later having an SF4 as well.  Currently I've only tried to connect my SF4 to my Android & tested the Sena Utility app.

I've paired the SF4 to the phone fine, however the Sena Utility does not recognise the BT pairing on the Droid OS.  Bizarre.

I figured this may be bc my phone is older, w Droid v8.1, BT v4.1.

I think SF4 is designed for BT 5.1, so possible mismatch.

Your first step is correct to put both units in pairing mode.  Once they are in pairing mode (blue flashing) you then need to tap the intercom button once on either unit, NOT BOTH!  Give it a few moments and the units should pair up.
