schubert c5 and sc2 mic fitment issue

i have recently purchased c5 with sc2 comms, mic fitment is useless it doesnt stay in when helmet is opened or closed and will be lost surely, can anyone assist , should the mic clip in and not just hang in loosely?

  I installed my units for me and my wife today. I encountered the same. After some trails I found that it is a VERY snug fit and it took some force, but then both snapped into place and is now very securly fastened.

  hi many thanks, I've tried numerous times and it just wont click into place, anymore force and I will break it. it is seated a little bit better but I still think I'm going to lose it!
