Hello there,
I cannot consistently hear the Sena voice when I click the button to do voice-commands.
At times, it is so quiet that I cannot hear it at all, and I have to guess that she is "waiting" to hear my command.
At other times, it's perfectly normal.

Yeah, inconsistency and outright poor quality are the foundation of the 20Scam. There's nothing Sena can do to make it a usable piece of equipment. Trust me, I've exchanged my unit 3 times and Sena (lack of) tech support knows me by name with countless tickets opened.
Your best bet is to get a different brand of headset.

I have to say that OVERALL the 20S works okay. I have one enormous gripe with it and that is that it DOESN'T FIT THE SHOEI RF1200 helmet, one of the most popular sport helmets on the market. A totally awful oversight and undealt with issue on Sena's part.
