the cable with the "fat" usb plug wont work. Its the wifi-adapter which does not allow updating from your computer, its intended to be used as a charging cable that handles updating itself (you set it up with the sena app when its plugged in) but its a PITA to set up. Use a regular usb-a to usb-c cable.

I have to same issue and a standard cable doesn't help. Software cant recognise the hardware. "Cant find the USB" error too.

Bought SRL Mesh today and have the same problem. Have used different cables and different usb ports on my pc. Nothing works. Anyone have a solution?

I think in the end the only thing that worked was using the original cable. Generic cables dont work for sone reason. Tech support was basically non existent and very slow. Can’t remember if software links they provided made any difference but I think not. Cable was the key.

I have a SRL Mesh and have found for the Firmware Device Manager. I have to turn on the helmet and the connect the USB-C cable from the computer to the helmet Then the  helmet turns off, and when I press next in the Firmware Device Manager everything works as it should.
