Sena pi ... no intercom
Before I return these things .. bought a pair for my wife and I to use. They are charged, paired to our phone that works fine. Intercom is poorly documented. I added each to the other using the QR code in the app ... was told online to do the "press minus on each" and that worked once. Now nothing ... ideas ?

I apologize for the issues you're experiencing. I understand that you're familiar with the QR pairing process. To pair the intercom on both devices, you will need to hold the Minus button for a little over 5 seconds. This should initiate the pairing process and establish the connection between the devices.

So once you have pressed for 5 seconds and the light goes red and the beeping starts do you just wait for the connection?

But after you do that "pairing" above, how to connect after that the next day? It seems we have to do that every time which is a bit tedious. The manual just says to hold the "-" down for 1 second but that does not workp

Agreed total pain I sold our for a huge loss but better than the verbals from my wife for wasting money each time we ride.

We have had our set for two years. I seem to remember them pairing to each other automatically after the initial pairing. But today that did not work. I tried updating the firmware, or software, whatever, I don't remember. I tried connecting them using the app both on the phone and on my laptop, but have no clue where the thing is to SCAN. I think that app is rather useless. I re-paired both units to my phone bluetooth. I tried everything, including a factory reset. I finally UNpaired both headsets from my phone, then did the thing where you pressed each (-) button until the voice said "intercom pairing", let go, and it worked. BUT the headsets do NOT retain this setting, and we have to re-pair them every time after we shut them off.

I just got off tech support. I'm copying and pasting their comments below...
- Take pictures of your partner's QR code and paired it to your phone.
- After you pair the phone to your unit and attempt to communicate again or start the intercom pairing, you will need to go through the pairing process once more.
- If tapping the (-) button once doesn't work, please hold it for 5 seconds.
- Did you hear the intercom pairing? Please wait for a minute, and it should pair automatically. If you want to initiate an intercom conversation, press both unit's minus buttons together for 5 seconds.
- Once paired, the unit will display blinking blue lights, indicating that the pairing is successful.
- Once you are disconnected from the intercom and wish to reconnect, simply tap the (-) button on either of the two headsets.
It seems the headsets don't keep the history. Tech support never addressed this question. Good luck!
