I'm also having the same issue with my SRL Mesh, Hey Google works but Hey/Hello Sena doesn't. I've raised a ticket but the response wasn't too helpful, they sent me a paragraph ref that doesn't tie in with the SRL user guide. I'm beginning to think that I've wasted a load of cash. I have not even tried the wives S50 yet. waiting for double disappointment.

Does anyone have any bright ideas?

already tried fault reset, factory reset, install from PC using device manager.

    Cheers.

I am also having the exact same problem. Sena does not speak or respond to any voice commands. Only purchased the SLR-Mesh today. ;-(

I was told and actually tested, that you need to say "Hey Sena" followed by a command, without waiting for any prompt back. Tested with music, volume controls, mesh/ bluetooth mode.

i.e. you say "Hey Sena Volume up/down", "Hey Sena Next", etc. The unit won't respond at all, but will act on the command.

All of the commands can be found in the full user's manual (not the quickstart one), section 11 Voice Commands.

I bought a sena impluse helmet for Christmas and only 6 weeks later had my son & daughter finly got it updated. Unless you have years of experience with computers you have no hope of updating the sena impulse helment. Before update the sena voice commands never worked even after update it still don't work. Don't waste your money on this crap that don't work. The instructions that sena gives you are not clear and accurate. I have a $69 bluetooth for helmet that works the same. Can listen to music and gps as long as you set it up on your phone before the ride. Will never buy or recommended a sena product to anyone. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Try speaking with an American (USA) accent. "Haayy Seeena" it takes some practice.

Yes, that works, but theres still work to be do with this upgrade, a lot of intereference when using intercom & music together. I've upgraded to this latest  sena mesh, but in my opinion it was a step backwards, I've been using Sena for 8 years, I am now looking at other brands, something I thought I'd wouldn't do, been so happy in the past with sena.

I am not a yank. I was born in Australia and live in Australia. Can't talk like a yank if my life depend on it. If they are set up for America why sell them in other countries?? Just sell them to the yanks or fix it so other countries can use them.

Like all computer equipment today it is really a scam. If you had a car that only got you half way to work you would get rid of it. But with computer devices we still use them even after fail to do what the manufacturer say they do. It's time to get rid of them, we have had computers now since the 90s and still don't work like manufacturers say.

Got voice commands working with Sena SRL2 firmware 1.0.8. As per the voice command instructions (https://www.manua.ls/sena/srl2/manual?p=31), I said "Hello Sena" followed by my command. I've always said "Hey Sena" which for some reason doesn't work. Stupid.

Lo and behold the company’s name is pronounced with a long e, as in see. I was saying eh. So that ,as well as the advice up above about immediately giving the command, and it works perfectly.
