SRL - Shoei GT Air 2 - Additional Piece

I am trying to install the SRL unit into my GT Air 2. There's an additional piece that is wired into the unit alongside the speaker. It's "L" shaped with a flat plastic edge and the opposing piece has a metal plate (thin) with a wire attached. I cannot find anything that tells me what this is or where it fits. Help!

  are you sure you have a SRL? sounds like you have an SRL MESH

  You're right, it's SRL Mesh.
