Sena 10C Pro video
Hello,
I recently purchased the 10C Pro and started to use it. I was confused why my video was not saving to my SD card. I tried and tried to figure it out until, eventually, I determined that after the camera was turned on, you had to start the recording.
Why would the camera need to be turned on before the recording started. It just seems logical to me that if the camera was on, it would also be recording.
My solution is: please update the firmware so when the camera is turned on, it automatically starts to record. There is no reason why there would need to be 2 separate actions necessary to start recording on this 10C pro.
Thanks

Hi Travis,
It's important to understand that default settings usually configure the camera to record in 1440P resolution, which demands a significant amount of power and storage space. Continuous recording at this resolution would rapidly fill up your SD card and deplete your device's battery. Therefore, it's a recommended practice to manually activate the camera when you intend to start recording. This approach maximizes the efficiency of its capabilities and helps conserve battery life.
Even dedicated video camera devices like GoPro or Insta360 require manual recording activation. Similarly, dashcams in parking mode don't start recording unless motion is detected to prevent the battery from draining completely while idle.
