Music won't restart after conversation

My partner and I each have an SMH10.  We have our com unit paired to our respective phones and both com units are configured for voice activated intercom.  After a conversation, my partner's com unit won't restart her music.  Instead, it sounds like the mic is left open.  We've tried turning them off and then on again but the issue recurs.

  I have this happen a lot but usually after a conference between 3-4 riders. I think it's something in my phone. It did it more when I was using WinAmp for my music. Now I'm using the embedded player and it seems to have gotten better.
