Poor FM reception on 10U
Does anyone else experience bad FM reception with 10U? Some noise comes very often, like weak signal and if I turn on RDS it starts looping and can't snap to some frequency a long time. I also asked Sena Support about this few days ago, but I got no answer yet :(

I also have very poor reception even with several local channels to choose from. Very disappointing. FM was one of the reasons I purchased this unit. Premium price should guarantee functionality. 0 -
Hello, Unfortunately, I found the same problem as you. The system is unable to find most of the french radio stations (national or local). It's a very big disappointment in view of the price. I hope the manufacturer SENA working on a fix (update firmware). 0 -
I have the same issue. Lots of interference even with local stations. SENA replaced my first unit and I'm still having reception issues in the second one. They need to fix it otherwise the FM radio capability is worthless. Right now for me it's better to use an app like iHeart Radio in my mobile phone and listen it through the Bluetooth link which works great.

I ALSO am VERY disappointed about the radio FM-reception. I mainly listen radio when driving and while I had the CARDO SHO-1 and wasn't 100% satisfied with the reception on that one, I thought I might be better off with the SENA 10U but that was and still is a disappointment. Ofcourse the remote handlebar creates BY FAR a much better handling of the system, but for the price we are paying this item, also the radio FM-quality should be TOPQUALITY, that is if SENA wants to keep up with it's leading role in mobile intercom-systems.

For me one of the main reasons to buy the Sena 10u for a Schuberth C3 Pro helmet was because it is not noisy (it is not on the outside of the helmet). After using it a couple of times and setting- and resetting the firmware it still doesn't get a good FM signal. Even with the mayor radio stations and driving under a clear blue sky with no trees nearby, the reception of FM is worthless. I am very disappointed and I would definitely not recommend this product when you like listing to the radio! The only option is to listen it via an app on the phone like stated earlier.

I encountered the same problem as you and, after two returns to the service after sale, I was paid by my dealer because the manufacturer apparently has no solution. I do not recommend this product. 0 -

its 2017 now and radio stil not working whats up whit that its realy bad you cant drive 2 km whitout bad reciving why is there no fix fore this

Just updated my Scala Rider to the Sena 10u for my Shoei Neotec. The radio reception is dreadful and most of the time non-exsistant.
Before contacting Sena helpdesk I was wondering has anyone on here had any luck with a fix?

What kind of Helpdesk is this @Sena? After three years, not a single response to any of us. If this is how Sena deals with their clients, I am done with Sena.
At least give us a decent response or compensate us for the crappy product.0 -
Update. The solution is throw the unit away and don't buy from a company that will not support their customers. My friends from the ridding community will never buy sena
