Problem with new 10C

I've had my new 10C for  week now and it appear to be operating ok.

However I installed device manager to ,2 different computers to download firmware upgrade as suggested by Phone app.

In attempting to get device manager to recognize 10C I get "FAIL TO RECOGNIZE DEVICE- CAN'T OPEN USB.

I submitted ticket on issue and have not response.

Now when I connect 10C to PC I hear normal audible connection sound but it isn't present, the only way I con now access SD card is to remove from 10C and connect to PC via adapter card.

I find these issues frustrating and more so I get no response from support.

Doesn't seem to be any Australian support all phone contact seems to be international dialing. 

Please assist.
