Sena 10s, smh-10 lock
My son dropped his communicator on the highway. It was recovered and still worked. I came up with this neat trick to lock the communicators onto the mount to prevent accidental drops.

Your solution is a great idea but it shows that there is a design flaw in the attachment of the 10S to the helmet mount.
I had two SMH 10 units and neither one of them every fell of the helmet mount.
I now have two 10S units and one had the clip almost snapped off and the other one wasn't far behind it. Luckily both were under 2 years old and my SENA reseller has submitted both of them for a warranty claim. Interesting to see is SENA will replace them as they don't offer a repair facility for any of their products. If a small part breaks you have to buy the entire unit again. Good marketing ther SENA but you are doing yourself a lot of harm doing this.
Regardless the attachment clip design for the 10S is FLAWED. Take NOTE SENA and do something about it!!!!
