    Good idea! I have been re-pairing everything each time I want to connect a new device to get it the right order.

    Ken, you don't have to unpair from everything each time. If you only need to unpair one device then you need to remove the 20S from that device in the device's Bluetooth menu. In the scenario you have mentioned of having Intercom, a Garmin GPS and an iPhone and you need to swap them then you only need to remove the 20S from the GPS and Forget the Device (20S) on the iPhone and then pair those devices to the 20S accordingly. The intercom pairing does not need to be removed in that case. If you do a Factory Reset or select the Delete All Pairings setting in the Configuration Menu, then you have to repair everything and everyone back together again.
