More. With the software Sena Device Manager you can connect de VOX special itens and creations (2, I believe) of this "wonderful" sena SRL3. The problem is if you connect this, you will spend all the time listening "INTERCOM FOUND. TRY AGAIN LATER" every 5 seconds of your trip, until you get crazy or until you have a accident because you can not support that voice anymore. BRAVO SENA, BRAVO SENA. Never saw anything so stupid. To creat a device with several "innovations", but forgetting to say that they really need to be disconnnected because they are not well engineered or even thought. AGAIN, SHOEI, BE CAREFUL WITH THE PARTNERS YOU CHOOSE.

    Dear Pedro,

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about the SRL3. I’m truly sorry to hear about your frustration with the device and your experience with its functionality. We understand how important reliable, safe, and user-friendly communication systems are, especially when paired with premium helmets like the Shoei Neotec 3.

Allow me to address some of your points and offer potential solutions:

    1. Voice Command Limitations:

      • You're absolutely right that the voice command experience has changed compared to the SRL2. The absence of hands-free speed-dial commands is indeed a notable difference, and we understand how critical this feature is for safety and convenience. While current firmware does not support these commands, your feedback has been noted and will be forwarded to our development team for consideration in future updates.
    2. GoPro Voice Commands:

      • Difficulties with commands like “Stop Recording” or “Start Recording” can be caused by background noise or voice recognition sensitivity. To improve recognition, ensure:
        • The microphone placement is optimal and not obstructed.
        • Background noise is minimized when giving commands.
      • That said, we acknowledge your concerns about recognition accuracy and will escalate this to our engineering team for review.
    3. VOX and Intercom Alerts:

      • The repeated “Intercom Found. Try Again Later” message you’ve experienced is indeed frustrating. This issue may be related to specific settings or firmware versions. As a temporary workaround:
        • Disable the VOX feature in the Sena Device Manager.
        • Ensure your SRL3 is updated to the latest firmware version, as updates often address such bugs.
    4. Partnership with Shoei:

      • We value our collaboration with Shoei and recognize the trust customers place in both brands. We aim to ensure that our products enhance the helmet’s functionality, not detract from it. Your concerns will be shared with our team and our partners at Shoei to ensure continuous improvement.

We deeply regret any inconvenience or dissatisfaction you’ve experienced. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we’re committed to addressing these issues to improve both the device and the user experience.

To help resolve some of the immediate challenges, please reach out to our technical support team. We’re here to assist you in optimizing your device and addressing any setup issues.

Thank you for your patience and for taking the time to share your insights.

What a rediculous response. This thing is so buggy, Sena should be ashamed. Shoei is the only reason anyone has bought this garbage,

    Bonjour,

Similar experience. Purchased a new Neotec3 together with SRL3 last week.
Updated firmware and all preliminary requirements.
    Then started testing voice commands…
Only one that usually works is the battery check. Sometimes the music start. Rarely any volume settings or stopping music. And never able to answer calls.
    Incredibly disappointed.
And all ‘online’ suggestions useless considering if instead use ‘Hey Siri’ then everything works fine. But that doesn’t help whatsoever with communication tasks (mesh or intercom). So back to using buttons (which wanted to avoid). Since Siri works, obviously the mic and circuits etc all good. Which leaves either the voice recognition software or firmware/chip as reasons.
Whatever the case, the QA staff should have caught such basic issues. And as someone who managed a global QA team for many years, this is embarrassing.
Hopefully software since if hardware, no way would I fork out another 350 USD and take the risk again.
