    Hello,

I don’t believe this is a helmet issue, especially if all the helmets are new, as you mentioned.

To narrow this down, could you provide the phone model and software version you’re using? This will help us research any ongoing Bluetooth pairing issues related to recent phone updates.

It is unlikely that the Impulse is unable to pair with your phone via Phone Pairing, so let’s figure out what might be causing this.

Ok, please help otherwise I will return the helmet back, which I don't really want. Actually, it is possible because all the rest of the helmets we tried to pair on the same phone and everything worked. The phone is iphone 12 with ios 8.1.1

If you're experiencing pairing issues with your SENA Impulse Smart Helmet, start by ensuring that the helmet is fully charged and powered on. Next, check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that no other active connections are interfering with the pairing process. If the helmet doesn't appear in your device's Bluetooth list Lightroom APK for iOS, try resetting the Bluetooth module by holding the pairing button for about 10 seconds until you hear the reset prompt.

Finally, I managed to pair it with my phone and made the firmware update, though not everytime it is pairing. For instance, not every time when I am switching on it is automatically connecting, though the lighting is showing that is pairing. I can make short video and send you if you want. I would avoid to return the helmet if we can solve the problem. So now I cannot pair again, even after doing all the updates snd after making factory reset

I finally got it paired with my phone and updated the firmware, but it doesn’t always connect. Sometimes, when I turn it on, the lights indicate it's pairing, but it doesn’t actually connect. I can record a short video if that helps—I’d rather avoid returning the helmet if we can fix this. Right now, I can’t pair it again, even after all updates and a factory reset.

Oh no, that's frustrating! It's a real pain when tech doesn't work as expected, especially when you've just bought new equipment. Have you tried the usual troubleshooting steps? Things like:

    • Making sure Bluetooth is turned on on both the helmet and your phone: Seems obvious, but sometimes the simplest things are overlooked! Double-check both devices.
    • Putting the Sena Impulse into pairing mode: Each helmet model has its own specific way to enter pairing mode. Check the instructions that came with your helmets – they should detail the exact steps.
    • Forgetting the helmet on your phone (if it's ever been paired before): Sometimes, a previously unsuccessful pairing can interfere with a new one. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, find the helmet (if listed), and select "forget" or "remove" to clear the connection.
    • Restarting both the helmet and the phone: A simple reboot often resolves temporary glitches.
    • Checking for software updates Retro Bowl: Make sure the firmware on your Sena Impulse is up-to-date. There might be an update available that fixes Bluetooth connectivity issues. Check Sena's website for the latest versions.
    • Checking for interference: Sometimes, other Bluetooth devices or Wi-Fi signals can cause interference. Try turning off other Bluetooth devices nearby.
