Sena Evo R1 not working

After updating to firmware 2.2 the LED on the back of the helmet cannot turned on anymore, no matter if the button is pressed or the by using the app. When I press the button, the connection to the mobile phone is disconnected, and the helmet seems to be no longer working and eventually is turned off.

  Yesterday we bought two bicycle helmets of the same model and are also having the same problem: the lights won't turn on. The helmet turns off completely after pressing the Sena button or controlling it via the app. We're very not amused about this. Can anyone give us some advice, please?
