Opened ticket for Sena 60S Issue - Background Volume does not go to 100%
Hi,
Below are the instructions on how to set the background volume while using group Open Mesh.
When Mesh is activated in the 60S, I play a music on the cellphone Android Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, I cannot hear the music, it's too low volume.
When the I disable the Mesh, I can hear the music loud and clear.
But when I enable the Mesh, the music sound is decreasing too much. I went to the Background Volume settings in the Sena App and I have set the sound 20% nothing better and then 100%, same. Almost not hearing the music at all. Something is wrong to not be able to set the background volume while Mesh is enabled.
I can hear the music but very very very low. then I tried to change from 0% to 100% in Background Volume and it's not really increase the volume enough to ear it good.
Can you help me please?
I do have 3 x Sena 60S that I have upgraded from 50S HK.
If you have a fix and a new update firmware that you want me to try, it's ok with me.

Audio multitasking on the 60S allows you to listen to music, GPS turnby-turn instructions, and FM radio while having a Mesh Intercom or Bluetooth intercom.
For more details, go to Device Settings on the Sena Motorcycles app to configure the settings.
Background Volume
Background audio, such as music playback, will automatically lower in volume during an active intercom conversation. You can adjust the volume reduction percentage in the app under ‘Background Volume’.

Finally I made a Hard Reset and it solved the problem

Hi Michael, just a hard reset solved your problem? I have the same. I am also struggling that i dont have 2 different volumes to adjust. On my old Sena I could change the voice volume via the device itself and the music via my phone :/

Hi, factory reset helped. Now i just find a solution to adjust volume of music and communication separately

Hi when iam playing music from my Gps and there is an incoming tel. call. The other person hears my music. So music is not muted by an incoming phonecall.
I can i solved this. Thanks to all for the response.
