UPDATE 20S FIRMWARE, MESH?

I recently updated the firmware of an 'older' 20S unit. Will it have 'Mesh' technology?  Or will I have to do something more?

  Mesh is entirely different Hardware. Not possible to get that with a firmware upgrade

  my 20s is 10 years old i think. still works. i did get a new 50s with mesh. Like he said the 20s will not have mesh but a rider with a 50s or 50r can bridge you into a mesh conversation
