Well, there's not much you can do except applying a good amount of force and hoping it does not break... And then you will have to basically leave it in place for fear of breaking it the next time ...

Yeah, it was the same for me, it was 4 or 5 working days until they finally got back to me for the first time. After that communication was better, they usually got back to me the next day.
