I have to same issue and a standard cable doesn't help. Software cant recognise the hardware. "Cant find the USB" error too.

Yep with you on that. Still, mine has never been able to be recognised. Functions with phone etc but will not hook into PC for firmware updates. Puzzling how they can release such average software/...
