20s static when communicating with other riders

When I link up two other riders with 20s' there is static that occurs off and on between the three of us.  What can be done to fix this?

  Extend the antenna.  That's been the root of all my static problems.

  Have a look at your PIN connectors which make contact with the helmet mount.  They maybe corroded as this is a well know problem which SENA refuses to acknowledge.
