50s sound issues on intercom
recently went away for a couple of weeks with my wife as pillion, we both have the 50s and everyday at random times throughout the day the intercoms would start making a clicking sound and cut in and out every other second, when we tried to talk it would be almost inaudible due to the mic cutting out every other second, this happened every day, sometimes it would not happen for a few hours, other days it would happen after a few minutes. the only cure was to power down each unit and restart the connection, and do the same every time it happened. It happened on both Bluetooth and mesh and both units were uploaded with the new firmware before we left. I reset both comms to factory state while we were away but it made no difference. one thing i did notice was that we had to restart both units for them to reconnect, if just one unit was restarted 9 times out of 10 they would not reconnect.
Separate issue was hearing ourselves very loudly in our own speakers when we spoke, this happened randomly and again forced us to restart the comms.
in the whole I'm very disappointed with the day to day useability of the 50s we have bought.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having troubles with your device. Have you already submitted a ticket through our website? If you have, could you please provide me with your ticket number? If not, I can initiate the ticket creation process for you.
In the meantime, have you tested the intercom with the mesh feature to see if the same issue occurs? You can do this by pulling up the antenna and pressing the mesh intercom button on both 50S units.
Also, do note the firmware updates for the 50S, have fixed a multitude of bugs in the Intercom function as well, so please make sure that is completed if you haven't done so.

Hi Alex, I did update both units to the latest available updates before we left, I have just checked for updates again and now there is 2.3 available so I will update them both and try again, hopefully it will sort it. as for creating a ticket, no I haven't done that as yet, I have tried but for some reason the model name would not be accepted in the 1st page/ stage of the ticket. it says put in the model number as shown on the box but no matter what I entered it would not work
