How do I know what rev of firmware is on a unit?

Friends are ordering new SMH10B's and I would like to know by looking with the firmware rev is.

  SMH10 Manager will list an SMH-10B's current firmware level (no need to do an upgrade to see this).  AFAIK, there is no way you can just look at the SMH-10B and see or read the firmware rev. level.
