Smb10 connection and clarity

I have the smb10 connected to the BMW NaveIV, no issues, iPhone 4 is connected to the NaveIV, no issue however after about a 2k miles run my riding partner and I noticed that we are pairing our devices almost every other day and/or ride. Often get a very garbled transmission which clears itself after total reboot from both bikes. I often lose music (source is the naveIV) and when I get a text in I lose my phone connection. This leaves me with a stop, reboot everything and after repairing - every annoying. Both smb10 are up to the latest firmware, we both keep the two smb10 up t date and synch so we avoid these issues, but not really. Great product, but need some help.   Hi Joe,

  Usually a Factory Reset will likely resolve this issues. Please check your user manual on how to perform a Factory Reset on your SMH10. This reset will not delete your firmware update.

  After a factory reset you will need to re do the pairing with your devices.

  I am experiencing intermittent garbled transmission from my SMH10 & SR10 when I talk to my friend who has a wired system on his Bike.  Both of us are using FRS radios.  The comms are great for quite a while & then I hear back from him that I just came across all garbled!  Then, without any re-booting or re-pairing a lot of times, it will return to ops normal!  What's up with this?
