SMH5 turning off
I have a week old SMH5 which worked brilliantly for the first two days. On the third day I could hear some distortion and noise in the left channel but it was intermittent. Now when I power the device on and then press the main volume button to resume music playback the unit turns off? Is there a way to reset the device or am I looked at an RMA claim?
Cheers

Hi Roy,
Go to page 23 of the user guide (link below), see 10.13 Fault Reset
http://senabluetooth.com/downloads/manual/UsersGuide_Sena_SMH5-v1.2.pdf
I would also perform the Factory Default Reset on page 22. After that, you need to re do the pairing with your phone.

Sounds like your SMH5 might have a firmware or hardware issue. You can try resetting the device by holding the phone button for about 10 seconds until you hear a reset prompt. If that doesn’t work, charge it fully and try updating the firmware through the official Sena app. If the problem persists, you may need to consider an RMA claim for a replacement. Many users, including litomplo enthusiasts, have found resetting or updating the firmware helpful in resolving similar issues.
