New Prism won't charge or turn on.

I've tried to charge my Prism for the first time but there is no LED showing that it's charging and after several hours of charging the control buttons won't turn it on. Am I just being a little dense? Is there something else I should be doing? The charger works fine with other devices. Thank you.

  Press the 2 top buttons until you see the LED did you mane sure the battery is in and in correctly?
