Sound will not come through headset with XM radio is run through Zumo 550 why is that?

My Sena SNH-10 headset works perfectly with music through my Android smartphone and the Zumo 550; however, I get no sound when I am running the XM radio unless I run a wire from the GPS to the Sena. Can anyone help with this?

  Hi Jeffrey,

  The reason is XM on the 550 does not route audio to Bluetooth headsets.

  See page 49 in the user guide in the link below.

  Dean, page 49 just shows a empty circle it does not say why it won't play through the Sena system. With the Goldwing I can hear the XM radio. Can I get that from the Goldwing to the Sena speakers? Thanks, Jim

  You will need an SM10 and 5-pin DIN to 3.5mm adapter or Freewire to catch GL1800 audio and turn it into bluetooth music signal.  The Zumo 550 does not bluetooth music, just directions or HFP to phone.
