I had the same issue with wind and would love a better mic.

I agree.  There is too much wind noise transmitted through the mic into other interconnected headsets and phone calls at speeds in excess of 25 MPH (open face and half helmets are all we use, on a full touring Harley with fairing and tall wind shield).  If it is a software adjustment, please look into it.  If it is hardware in the mic configuration itself (as mentioned above) please address it and I would buy a new mic setup immediately.  The SPH-10 is probably the best headset we have used from many perspectives.  Thank you for providing such a well thought out communicator for bikers.

For background:  I have used a variety of motorcycle headsets over the years.  Our old Scala Rider Teamset had such good noise cancellation and wind noise blocking that with a half helmet on my Harley going well in excess of the highway speed limit, wind noise was never noticed on Bluetooth calls (most though I was using the phone mic sitting in my living room - not kidding here) and also while on the intercom with my wife.  The units we had were for 2-up riding only, and we needed bike to bike communication so after 5 happy years with them we started to shop around.  Tried the UClear setup, and although boomless is a great idea, and I wanted to like them, the audio quality was not there for us at speeds over 35.  We tried lots of mic configurations, updated software as they were developing it, and still in 2-up mode it echoed too bad for us.  Bike to bike it worked well enough though, although not a clear as a boom mic in personal our experience.  The Sena unit is by far the best we have used in terms of voice clarity, ease of use, helmet mounting, and descent range.

I own a sport bike and a full faced helmet, but it seems I also am  experiencing a wind noise problem.  Once I go above 25 mph my phone conversation breaks up very badly.  The person I am speaking with is unable to hear everything I say and I have the same problem hearing everything the other person says.  I will be looking for a new helmet but I do not know that getting a new helmet alone will help.  Looks like Sena may need to help with that as well.
