Increase Jog Wheel spring pressure or change firmware for side checks.

I find with my SMH-10 on two different helmets that I activate my intercom when doing left side checks.

The jog wheel contacts my left shoulder when I turn my head.  It is a light contact.

My suggestion would be to increase the spring resistance to this push, or to mold in a guard towards the lower rear of the jog wheel.

Otherwise make the activation push a 1.5-2 second deal so it ignores short side check contact. (probably the best because this could be done in firmware)

 

My placement is pretty normal.... about half way between my chin and my ear.  It is the only place you can install one on most helmets that makes sense.
