Speakers fade in and out

When I touch the SENA unit The speakers come on and off like a loose wire connection.  Playing with it I can get both speakers to work. The Jog Dial effects it the most. ?????

  Loose unit on the mounting plate? Loose speaker connector? If pushing the jog dial makes the problem worse, I suspect the 20S isn't sitting on its base correctly, or maybe the contacts are dirty (clean with 91% alcohol, not rubbing alcohol).
