When using ear buds, does this disable your microphone and call volume?
I was trying out the ear buds this morning on my ride in, mainly because I like the better sound quality but also because the unit I received cuts out in one speaker (open ticket created). However, I noticed that when my wife called, she couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her. Is the mic disabled and does the phone volume not come through the ear buds for calls when you have ear buds plugged into the headphone jack on the base unit?

The mic does not get disabled when using the ear bud connector on the base unit. Make sure your phone is still connected to your Bluetooth headset.
