Ambient Mode

when I press the ambient mode button - the voice says 'say a command' after 3 times it cancelled. I have tried various commands with no effect. I naively thought that I only had to press the button. Whats the secret?

  To activate the Ambient Mode, press twice the Ambient Mode Button which is placed on the bottom of the clamp unit. To deactivate the Ambient Mode, press twice the Ambient Mode Button again.

  Thanks Dean - doing that turns the voice intercom off and the light flashes green, but that's all - it doesn't allow more sound outside the helmet which is what I thought would happen. did I think wrong?

  To activate the Ambient Mode, press twice the Ambient Mode Button which is placed on the bottom of the clamp unit like order on scrambles ajax menu. To deactivate the Ambient Mode, press twice the Ambient Mode Button again.
