Helmlink - Sena voice commands not working
I have just purchased a Sena Helmlink to fit my Icon Domain helmet and the Sena voice commands are not working at all. Sena help has so far not been able to resolve the issue, except for returning unit to original supplier. The app and Bluetooth connection are all good. The unit is not allowing input, so it looks like the microphone is not working, so cannot answer call from phone, talk to Google or activate the Sena voice commands not working. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

@slope game: Test the microphone separately: If possible, try testing the microphone independently, such as by connecting it to a different device or using a third-party audio recording app, to verify that the microphone itself is functioning correctly.

The Helmlink was tested with the original microphone and with another Sena replacement microphone, no input was detected by the main unit. Communication did not allow input to Sena commands or enable contact to Google on the phone. All output was good, from phone to speakers.
I have followed advice from Sena support and returned the HelmLink to the supplier.

Sena voice command seldom work as advertised.
I just switched over to Cardo Edge, and have been impressed with the voice command feature. It actually works 95% of the time. Even with an open faced helmet at speed!

It sounds like a microphone-related issue. If the Bluetooth connection and app are working correctly but voice commands, phone call responses, and Google Assistant activation all fail, I would first check the microphone connection and placement inside the helmet. A firmware update and factory reset may also be worth trying if you haven't already.
