Recently picked up a Schuberth C5 with the SC2 intercom and wanted to pair it to a Valentine V1 Gen2 radar detector. Called both Valentine and Sena support and got the following:

1. Install the V1 app and the Sena app on your mobile phone.

2. Pair the V1 with the V1 app on the phone, and the phone with the Sena app on the phone.

3. In the V1 app,  make sure Audio Configuration -> Force output through phone speaker is set to OFF

4. Leave the V1 app running. It will automatically pair the phone with the V1 when the V1 powers up. And when the phone and SC2 are on, you’ll hear the radar detector through the speakers in the helmet.

5. Control the volume of the V1 in the SC2 headphones by setting it in the Sena app on your phone. In my experience, you may have to power down the SC2 in order for the settings to take place the first time you try this setup.
