SRL3 Firmware v 1.2/v.1.3 // MESH still not working as expected
I can establish MESH connections with the SRL3, but I get kicked out of the group when the distance to the next participant becomes too great, which is logical. Unfortunately, the SRL3 does not reconnect automatically to the group when the distance becomes smaller again. The only workaround is to switch MESH off and on again.
My SENA 30k, which costs half as much, did not have these problems. It is a mystery to me why SENA cannot get this known problem under control with the SRL3. I now advise everyone not to buy anything other than the 30k. Spending twice as much money does not mean that you do not get higher quality, but obviously a system that is significantly worse.

Hey Ralf,
Can we confirm that both the SRL Mesh and SRL 3 are fully updated to the latest firmware? Mesh should work exactly how you described it, if any participants are out of the range it will automatically self heal / re-connect once they are back within range, so this should not be happening in your case.
furthermore, i have created a ticket for you so, please respond to it with a picture of your device serials that can be located on the back of your SRL units, this will help us determine what year it was produced to see if there was any firmware differences.
Thank you, -
I can confirm that my SRL3 has firmware v1.3 (the latest one). After the firmware update I started the configuration menu by pressing the main button 10 sec. and initialized a factory reset. After the factory reset all settings and the mobile phone connection get lost (as expected) and I re-established the bluetooth connection.
I don´t use any custom settings because I only use the device for Mesh communication.
Best regards
