Hi Si Brown
there is known bug with iOS 18 and Current Android OS that is being resolved. there will be a update for the Sena APP soon. please update it when it becomes available. -
I hope you're doing well. To help resolve the issue with your SENA device, could you kindly try the following troubleshooting steps? These actions often resolve common connectivity and performance issues:

- Download the latest version of the software from the SENA website and reinstall it.
-
For Mac:
- Open Finder, go to the Applications folder, and drag the SENA Device Manager or App to the Trash.
- Empty the Trash and restart your Mac.
- Download and install the latest version from the SENA website.
2. Restore Your SENA Device to Factory Settings:
-
For Most SENA Devices:
- Turn on your SENA device.
- Press and hold the phone button for 12 seconds until you hear the prompt, “Factory Reset.”
- Press the phone button again to confirm. The device will reset and restart.
- You can refer to your specific model's user manual for any additional instructions on restoring factory settings.
3. Unpair and Repair Your SENA Device:
-
On Your Phone or Computer:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone or computer.
- Locate your SENA device in the list of paired devices and select Forget or Unpair.
- Restart your phone or computer.
- Put your SENA device into pairing mode (check your device’s manual for the specific steps).
- Repair your SENA device by selecting it from the Bluetooth list again.
These steps should help resolve many connection and functionality issues. Also I wanted to quickly mention an important tip when connecting your SENA device to your computer with the Device Manager:
Avoid Using a USB Hub or Docking Station:
When connecting your SENA device, it’s essential to use a direct USB port on your computer rather than a USB hub or docking station. Here’s why:
-
Data Transmission Issues:
USB hubs, especially non-powered ones, may not provide the necessary bandwidth or power for your device to communicate correctly with the SENA Device Manager. This can lead to incomplete connections or errors during firmware updates. -
Power Limitations:
Hubs can also limit the amount of power delivered to the device, which may affect its ability to maintain a stable connection during the update process.
To avoid these issues, please connect your device directly to your computer’s USB port to ensure smooth communication and proper functioning of the Device Manager.
If you’re already doing this and still experiencing issues, please let me know and we can look into other potential solutions.
Thank you for your patience, and I’m here to help.

Promotional Products Expert I hope you're doing well. To help resolve the issue with your SENA device, could you kindly try the following troubleshooting steps? These actions often resolve common connectivity and performance issues. Since updating to iOS18, my SLR3 connects but music keeps cutting out. I’ve only had the Sena device for 2 months, tried connecting to the device manager using the supplied cable (which has only been used twice to charge the unit) and the device isn’t able to be found when connected.
