On both iOS and Android, location services are required to enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi detection for any Bluetooth or Wi-Fi related tasks performed through the app.

it's honestly just poor wording on ios and android

The Sena app requires access to your GPS location primarily to enhance certain features like ride tracking, route sharing, and group intercom management. For example, if you're using the RideConnected feature, GPS helps connect you with other riders by showing your location or tracking shared routes. It can also assist with Bluetooth stability during rides, ensuring smoother connections between devices. If you don't use these features, you can often disable location access without affecting basic functionality.

The Sena app does not have any function to track a ride or share a route. I didn' mean the RideConnected app but the app for managing the headset/intercom (here 50R)

Hey Raphael! The Sena App uses GPS location primarily for features like tracking your rides, helping with navigation, and connecting with other users. It can enhance safety and functionality, especially if you’re using it with a Sena device for communication while riding. If you have any specific concerns about privacy or usage, feel free to ask!
