Just put my 20S EVO back on its cradle, I squeezed the two together until I felt, and heard, a "click" that locked it onto the cradle.  Hope this help.

    Hello Joesph,

It sounds like you're dealing with a loose connection between your Sena 20S EVO and the headset cradle on your CastleX helmet. This can occur due to several reasons, typically related to the mounting system or the headset’s connection mechanism.
Here are steps to help you troubleshoot and fix the issue:
    1. Inspect the Mounting Plate and Cradle

Check for Damage or Wear: Examine the mounting plate on the 20S EVO and the cradle inside the helmet for any signs of wear, damage, or loose parts.
Ensure Proper Alignment: The 20S EVO uses a clip-and-lock system. Ensure that both the headset cradle and the clip on the 20S EVO are aligned properly. If the clip is slightly misaligned or not making full contact, it can result in a loose connection.
    2. Clean the Contact Points
Clean the Cradle and Device: Dirt, dust, or grease on the connection points can interfere with the lock. Clean the contacts on both the 20S EVO unit and the cradle using a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution (ensure nothing is abrasive).
    3. Check for Secure Attachment
Ensure the Device Is Fully Secured: Make sure the 20S EVO is clipped all the way into the mounting cradle. Sometimes, the device may not click into place completely, especially if there is any resistance or obstruction.
    4. Examine the Cradle Mounting System
Reposition the Cradle: If the cradle itself feels loose or unstable, check if it's securely mounted to the helmet. A loose or misaligned cradle can cause the headset to lose contact when you release it.
Make sure it's not just the mounting plate on the 20S EVO, but also how the cradle is attached inside the helmet.
    5. Adjust the Tension
Tighten the Mounting Plate: Some 20S EVO models allow you to adjust the tension of the clip that holds the device in place. If it's too loose, tightening the screws on the mounting bracket may improve the connection.
    6. Test the Connection
After making adjustments, test the device by pressing it into the cradle and letting go to see if the connection remains intact. You should not need to hold it to maintain a connection.
    7. Consider Replacement Parts
Cradle or Mounting Plate Issue: If after cleaning and adjustments, the problem persists, it's possible that either the cradle or the mounting plate is defective. In that case, you may need to replace the defective part.
    8. Contact Sena Support
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you might need to contact Sena Customer Support for further troubleshooting. They may be able to offer additional guidance or suggest if a replacement part is necessary.

    Conclusion
A loose connection between the 20S EVO and the headset cradle could be caused by misalignment, dirt, or an issue with the mounting system. Go through the steps outlined above to troubleshoot, and if the problem persists, contacting Sena Support might be necessary.
Let me know how it goes or if you need more assistance!
