Will the 50C Mesh get a firmware update to Bluetooth 5.3 and Mesh3.0?
Good People,
Will Mesh 3.0 be delivered via a firmware update to the 50C?
My 50C is not that old and was expensive, but I am loosing connection to the rest of the pack that have updated their devices and are running with Mesh 3.0.
The last firmware update for the 50C was back in Jan 2024

Hello,
To confirm, most of our devices will receive the Mesh 3.0 update, but the rollout is slower as the focus is currently on the 60S. In the meantime, you can disable Mesh 3.0 via the Motorcycle App to connect with legacy Mesh 2.0 devices.

Yes I have had the same issue as well.
My freinds have the Spider ST1 and last week I lost all connection with them all.
I hope they send the update very soon.
It is most invonvenient.

To my understanding all SENA's with Mesh 3.0 have the option to use V2.0 as a switchable option vie the SENA app.

I am not a chipset expert.
If i look at the feature set and the firmware history of the S50 and the SENA SRL3 (which i own). I get the impression the same chipset is being used.
the SRL 3 and the SRL Mesh (for the Shoei helmets) both got Mesh V3.0 in a recent update. That update IS NOT BEIN MENTIONED on the web page yet. There is always a 4-8 weeks delay.
If you download the current english PDF for the SRL 3 the Mesh V 3.0 is mentioned. (and the way how to downgrade to Mesh V2.0 to ensure comapitibility with older SENA units..)
Have you tried updating the 50S ? I would not be surprised is there is an update available already.. (Of course, not being mentioned on the web, yet.. as usual..)0 -
Hi - The firmware update to provide MESH 3.0 to the 50C seems to have arrived, even if I cannot find any release notes for the update. I can finally talk to my friends and acquaintances again.
