Bikom 20 vs M1 Evo / R1 Evo
Do the Bikom's mesh with the other mesh helmets like the M1 Evo or R1 Evo / R2 Evo? This doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere and it seems like a pretty significant gap in marketing if it does work.
EDIT: I posted below - I did finally update all my devices and get them talking to each other.

I would also like to know the answer to this question. I have two SENA R2 EVO cycling helmets and want to confirm whether they can communicate with the BIKOM 20. Could an official staff member or someone who knows the answer provide a definitive response? Thank you! PS: It is recommended that the product marketing team provide more detailed and user-friendly explanations!

I get the sense they are not really invested in this "community" forum.

They do work together but you need to make sure and update the firmware on the helmets, the older firmware does *not* work. In theory any device that has "mesh intercom" listed as a feature works with the BiKom.
That being said, the performance is abysmal. My son uses an R1 Evo and I use the BiKom. If he's more than ~50 feet behind me, even on wide open ground, the quality goes downhill very fast. With the helmets and the old Pi devices we could easily carry conversations. Now it's pretty much impossible to hear complete sentences :(

There is a ".1" firmware update for the BiKom and helmets that seems to make things MUCH better FYI.

I have two Bikom 20s, two M1 Evo Helmets and an R1 Evo helmet and all five will communicate. Must be the EVO though… the standard M1, R1, R2 etc are Bluetooth only and will not communicate with the mesh devices.

Good question! As far as I know, the Bikom mesh system doesn't officially mesh with Sena’s M1 Evo, R1 Evo, or R2 Evo helmets. Sena's Mesh 2.0 is usually restricted to their own devices, so cross brand mesh functionality is limited. Bluetooth pairing could work for basic communication, though. It’d be great if Sena provided more details on this. Has anyone tried mixing these systems? Would love to hear your experience!

I can confirm from my own experience that my BiKom 20 units in a mesh works smoothly here with several M1 Evos (both the USB‑Micro version and the newer one with USB‑C), with all of them set to Mesh 3.0.

I got a notice about your message today... 8 months later. :) nice.
I did finally update all my devices and get them talking to each other. Pretty happy with the Bikom overall. I like the mesh technology, in spite of its limitations (mainly latency, when right next to each other, and volume on the helmets... which is more a hardware issue). Thanks for the pointer on the .1, I'll have to ensure I'm up to date, not sure what version I'm running now.
