Sena Schubert 10U not going into intercom pairing mode

    Having same problem. I inadvertently unpaired the 10U with my phone (while, ironically, trying to pair a second 10U in a different helmet) and now I am unable to re-pair. As stated in this posting, there is no option for pairing any longer.

    I was successfully able to pair the second 10u from the other helmet with my phone, but that 10u won't connect with my computer for the firmware upgrade.

    I, too, and generally pleased with Sena but these two issues are making me wonder what's happening with the company.

    James, I solved it on this end. I used my remote control to do it (hold joystick down until it goes into mobile phone pairing mode). My guess is that when you have a remote control connected to the 10U that it wants to do it through the remote.

    Of course, this isn't solving the problem with my other 10U which I'm now coming to believe is the function of a faulty unit.

    Good luck on your 10U!  Mine died - locked up solidly, would not turn on at all - after a year of use.  It's been back at Sena for 7 weeks now, with no resolution, just them telling me (when I poke them) "it's on backorder, we don't know when it will be solved".


    Even calls are treated the same way: "Contact us online, we'll answer there, no you cannot talk to a supervisor".  If your 10U dies (mine is also for a Schuberth) you may be out of luck for months - or forever.  Even though it's still solidly in warranty.

    My interaction with Sena support was definitively frustrating, FWIW. Turns out I have to use the Schuberth mobile app and Device Manager with the 10U purchased through Schuberth. So... I own 2 10Us in two helmets and manage each with different software. Go figure.

    Best of luck with your 10U!  After a year of use, mine died, locking up solidly and not turning on at all.  Since it's been back at Sena we become what we behold for seven weeks, they've just said (when I prod them) "it's on backorder, we don't know when it will be resolved."

    Have you contacted customer service? Mine is 2 years old, and I never faced any issues. I can only say positive words s about my 10U! The truth is - sometimes it gets disconnected from my phone but other than that, no problems.
